Planning and Execution

Lemongrass’s implementation of NextDecade’s systems in scope was broken down into 3 phases: Mobilize and Design, Technical Foundation, and Deploy and Migrate. In the Mobilization and Design phase, Lemongrass designed the Cloud landscape and SAP Basis components for NextDecade’s SAP S/4HANA system, the approach for the migration, the schedule and sequence of activities for the entire project, and the Operate and support process required to maintain the integrity of NextDecade’s SAP workloads in Cloud.

After executing the Mobilization and Design phase, Lemongrass proceeded to the Technical Foundation phase using the design phase artifacts signed off by NextDecade to create the technical assets needed to build the company’s Cloud Landing Zone and server environments. At this point in the project, Lemongrass had restored NextDecade’s SAP environments using backups taken by the company and the hosting partner. With the design phase artifacts and technical assets in hand, Lemongrass proceeded to build the company’s Cloud Landing Zone, automation routines, and server environments before migrating its SAP workloads to the Cloud landscape.
