How Retailer Pick n Pay Mastered its Migration to the Cloud

The process of migrating an Enterprise’s mission-critical SAP systems to the Cloud can be laborious, complicated and very time intensive. And, when it came to the Pick n Pay Group – one of South Africa’s biggest retailers – there was the added pressure of this being the largest transition of its kind ever carried out on the African continent.

To ensure success, Pick n Pay enlisted the services of Lemongrass based on the company’s proven track record with migrating large complex SAP estates to the Cloud with minimal complications and downtime.

Responsible for overseeing the architecture and design of this crucial project was Robert Heneke, Head of Cloud, SAP Technology and Development at Pick n Pay.
